Does Worldview Matter?
Many people believe that Christian schooling is about the choice by families to remove their children from the real world and place them in an environment that is more like a fort built to keep the “bad guys” out—the bad guys of course being representative of everything bad, from real people to real ideas and all else imaginable in between. 4th Annual Lending Hands Lifting Hearts
Serve-a-thon
“Whoever wants to be great among you must be the servant of all” - Jesus-
Held on Tuesday, May 3rd, BCS sends its students out into the community for a day of service, friendship and love. This special event combines all parents, staff, and students in a powerful, school-wide, family event with two objectives: to generate much needed funds for our school and to serve our community. We will dedicate several weeks encouraging students and faculty to find ways to serve those around them through classroom projects in the community and meaningful discussions about being good stewards for the Kingdom of God.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors who helped make this event and our fundraiser a success. Please see a complete listing of all the people who helped out and benefitted the school and community at large. A great big thanks goes out to them for all of their support of our serve-a-thon! Please visit this sponsor pages for more information and kindly consider supporting them as well.
Behold The Lamb
Behold the Lamb is collaborative project of Berks Christian School, Conestoga Christian School, Eight Voices A Cappella, an artist, a composer, and a whole bunch of other really cool people. We will come together on April 13-18 for a tour of a new work of choral music fused with visual art. Along the way we will be raising funds to equip a Church in Bulgaria. We believe that using our artistic expressions in worship has a natural connection to spreading the Gospel and aim to do just that in this project. Check the Behold the Lamb site for more information.
